With all the craziness this past year, many of our dearest loved ones have been unable to spend time with their families.

 

We recognize this and are working to provide a way for all of us to honor our seniors and to share some love with our #AdoptAGrandparent campaign.

 

Simply click on the photo to learn more. For each person you adopt, we will deliver a balloon buddy to an assisted living home to share some love.

 

We are trying to get as many of these out as possible. This is an act of love and service to our community and we would love to get these to as many people as we can.

As much awesome care as they are receiving from nurses and care givers, our senior citizens--Grandma's & Grandpa's, Nana's & PawPaw's, Granny's & Pop's, no matter what we call them, need to receive some extra love.  An added benefit is these will uplift the staff and families who send. Such a positive!

Adventure In Fun is delighted to be creating 

"Loving Balloon Buddies" 

specifically for our Adopt-a-Grandparent Program.

We are SUPER excited that this is also part of a nationwide initiative with other balloon pros so

 we can spread love across the country.

STEP 1: CHOOSE THE AREA YOU WANT TO ADOPT A GRANDPARENT

STEP 2: CHOOSE HOW MANY BALLOON BUDDIES YOU WANT TO SEND TO THE GRANDPARENT.

STEP 3: SMILE, BECAUSE YOU HAVE HELPED A LONELY GRANDPARENT.

Loneliness causes:

  • a decline in mental abilities.

  • decreased attention and concentration.

  • impaired judgment.

  • a more rapid progression of Alzheimer's disease.


Loneliness is as dangerous as inhaling 2 packs of cigarettes a day!
Loneliness is contagious!  People who have contact with lonely people tend to become lonely themselves.

You can help stop Loneliness!

How does Adopt-A-Grandparent work?

1.  We will deliver one "Loving Balloon Buddy" to every Adopted resident at one Adam’s County Assisted Living Communities every week. This program will run several months, with a new community chosen after one is complete.  

Adventure In Fun Events is providing free delivery to each Assisted Living Community.  

Example:  Transitions Healthcare is the first community.  They have 135 residents.  Once all the  grandparents are adopted, we begin the construction and delivery process. 

2.  Balloon Buddies are delivered either on the same or next day of construction to that community..

3.  Each Grandma/Grandpa will receive a Balloon Buddy and a positive gift tag from the sender.

4.  Next, we will reach out to another Assisted Living Community so we can spread love to more adopted Adam’s County grandparents.

Large Sponsorship Bonuses:

  • For every 10 grandparents you adopt yourself, we will donate 2 adoptions.

  • You will receive social media recognition.

  • When you adopt an entire Assisted Living Community of 50 or more residents:

    • We will also put your company logo on the gift tag that is attached to the Balloon Buddy.

    • Your selected community will move to the top of the list to be started as soon as we complete the one we are serving.

    • We will deliver a special thank you balloon design to your business to lift spirits there.
